Party! Party! Party!

Riley's big bash was today. Our luau theme went over very well and I think that everyone had a good time.

The guests in attendance included my parents, Kelly, Shelby, Cameron, Linda, Leslie, Bobby, Lindsey, Rob, Dabba, Mike, Melissa, Peep, Papa, Jean, Robert, Aidyn, Rocky, Ellen, Jonathan, Livi, Mariah, Marcus, and of course Robert, Riley, and myself.

Unfortunately, Riley refused to take a nap during the party so he acted kind of sleepy throughout the whole party. He wasn't grumpy at all, he just wasn't his normal smiley self. He wasn't terribly impressed with the slip 'n' slide. For that matter, he wasn't terribly impressed with anything. He looked a little shell shocked when everyone started singing "Happy Birthday" at him. And while he did play with his cupcake, he refused to take even the tiniest bite.

A few of the most memorable moments revolved around the slip 'n' slide (which was my brilliant idea even though Robert may try to tell you otherwise)...
- Robert Brewer bodyslamming Jean - requiring her to get a change of clothes before the birthday party at the gym that afternoon
- Daisy leaping right over Lindsey's head as she slid down the slip 'n' slide
- Kelly sliding down the slip 'n' slide looking like she has more knees and elbows than humanly possible
- And last but certainly not least - Aidyn opting to pull down her bathing suit bottoms and tee-tee on the slip 'n' slide (fortunately only my mom and I caught that one)

Overall, I have to say that the party was a huge success, but boy am I glad that it is over!
